Shadows
Today at Native Pond
In the early winter of 2017, my new Brittany puppy was reaching adolescence with a shattered leg, a reality that had us both on leash for months. In the early winter of 2017, I was organizing the Water is Life. Protect it. rally and concert to stop two fracked gas pipelines from crossing Virginia. It was very much like lock down later came to be, me on computer and phone next to a caged youth.
It was then, I became fascinated by shadows and took a series of shadow photographs.
This week I feel a shadow of myself for reasons that will pass. I have mended and restored many times and will again. So no worries.
But Mama needs a rest now. Today at Native Meadow will return to publishing weekly when I can.
Meantime, hope these amateur photos will let your own eyes see some good shadows this week.

I am holding you in the Light, even while your in shadow.
Beautiful. Captivating photos. Enjoy your peace.
